- Test responses are processed entirely within your browser. No response data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- No account registration or email address is required to use the service.
- Personal data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
- Shareable result links encode only anonymous dimension scores — no personal identifiers.
What we collect and how
LucidTraits stores test progress and results in your browser's localStorage. This data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers at any point. You may remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
We may collect aggregated, anonymous usage data — such as page views, approximate geographic region (country-level), and browser type — through a privacy-respecting analytics service. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used solely to understand how the service is used and to improve it.
When you use the share feature, your result type code and dimension percentages are encoded into a URL parameter. This URL contains no name, email address, device identifier, or any other personal information.
Cookies and browser storage
LucidTraits does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. The only browser storage written by this service is localStorage, which holds your test state and results locally on your device. No session cookies are issued for the purpose of tracking or profiling.
External dependencies
LucidTraits loads typefaces from Google Fonts. That request is subject to Google's privacy policy and may include your IP address. No other third-party scripts, advertising networks, or social login services are used on this site.
Result images are generated entirely within your browser using the Canvas API. No image data is transmitted to our servers.
Data access and deletion
Because LucidTraits does not collect or retain personal data on our servers, there is no server-side data to request, export, or delete. All test data resides in your browser and can be removed at any time through your browser's site data settings.
